It still feels like mid summer but there are signs of Autumn. We will have a hot day in the upper 80s but Baltimore’s BWI has been running hot and has a chance for 90ºF. I will have more info this evening on why that weather station needs to be adjusted.

This morning there is thick fog and school delays on the Eastern Shore. Farther off shore Humberto is a Hurricane. It has winds of 85 mph and looks eerily similar to Dorian, but is heading out into the Atlantic towards Bermuda.

Afternoon High Temperatures

Notice the forecast range is from the upper 70s in southern PA, where some rain showers will fall this morning.

Lower to mid 80s in northern Maryland. Middle 80s in most of central Maryland. Metro areas tend to run hotter, but watch the thermometer at BWI to possible reach 90ºF and remain on the trend above models. There has been a change in the surroundings to influence this. I will discuss in a report this evening.

Rain showers tonight with the cold front

Showers in southern PA this morn, but more likely overnight and early Tuesday morning in Maryland. This will bring the cooler temps back in.

Cooling Down This Week

We will feel more like autumn this week, but another warm up by the weekend.
