Wednesday August 7 2019
This weather outlook includes the risk for severe storms across central Maryland and the eastern Shore. I have been busy with my Maryland Trek all week, but continue to provide morning weather updates. This one is critical to our team as we will be in central Maryland near many of our homes and in the bullseye for severe storms early to mid afternoon. See the radar simulation below for likely timing and tracking.
Severe Storms Criteria:
- Large Hail over 1 inch diameter
- Damaging Winds over 58 mph
- Flash Flooding
- Dangerous and Frequent Cloud to Ground Lighting
A Watch is issued when it ‘may’ happen.
A Warning is issued when it ‘is happening now’. Then counties or towns in the path are advised for residents to take cover.
Maryland Trek 6 Day 4
We will be start our day at Baker Park in Frederick. This is a day off of our feet to ride 57 miles by bike to Eldersburg and lunch street party in Sykesville. Then on through Ellicott City and ending by BWI.

Love Maryland Shirts and Hoodies
This shirt was designed by my ‘bonus’ daughter Jaiden. The hoodie has been the biggest hit, so our promotion has been extended until the end of this week.
