Friday August 2 2019

A front is stalled across our area and it has already made this morning a bit stormy, in southern Maryland and Virginia. This has moved north of Annapolis as of post time. See the snapshot doppler below. The model guidance suggests tone action will drift north this afternoon. We still have some nice weather on the way this weekend, then off and on showers through the middle of next week.  By that time there could be a new tropical system in the Atlantic.

Morning Storms

Stoms have been building north of Annapolis with lighting and thunder. Due to early morning inversion, the sound often travels farther. So this may be loud.
