This morning feels great! Cooler and comfortable temps with the outlook for another warm and beautiful day. Yesterday I showed my forecast for a small chance for afternoon rain shower. That played out over many metro areas. This was a surprise to many that had no chance in their weather apps or did not read far enough in my post yesterday morning. So I am mentioning that earlier this morning.

Afternoon Showers?

Once again a little disturbance will act on the afternoon heat and try to produce showers in the afternoon. Some of these might reach Delmarva after 3 PM, and like yesterday the movement will be slow.

The HRRRR Model shows more on Delmarva and near metro Washington.

 

The NAM 3 Km Forecast Simulation shows another round in the mountains west of Frederick, plus around Washington and The Lower Eastern Shore.

We will have a warm up over the weekend into early next week. But a cool down is expected Wednesday into Thursday.
