Friday July 5 2019
The good news is that we broke the heat and the weather will be less active than yesterday. That eruption of storms left a soggy, soupy mess this morning with areas of thick fog. The weathers wet up still has a weakness in the atmosphere overhead. but not major trigger. So there will be more storms forming, but not much to direct where they go.
The simulation below has the hint of there they will set up the west of Baltimore, then drift north and east. But we will have to watch the actual formation to then track.
This Morning
Morning Showers
This radar at 9 AM shows where the boundary is set up to possibly keep generating showers and storms. Compare this region to the simulation below for where the NAM 3 KM Model shows more storms later today forming in the same areas.

This is a suggestion from the NAM 3 Km Model, not a promise.
The development of storms should cover less area than yesterday. The hint from the models shows the atmospheric weakness west of Baltimore.
The next wave will develop between 4 and 6 PM, then extend through midnight.
