Tuesday July 2 2019

The heat is about to start cranking again. This will come along with an increase in humidity and storms. But each day going forward will also become less comfortable. That means through Independence Day and the weekend you may want to be near a pool, but easy access indoors with your parties.

Today the air quality is back to Code Orange in metro areas, storms will fire up in the afternoon, but a larger line of storms is likely to drop out of PA into central Maryland tonight after dark. Considering the high heat and humidity, there is a chance some of these storms can turn severe. Not everyone will get hit, but it is worth paying attention to as this will be our pattern all week. See the timeline below.

Morning Temperatures

Some 50s still in the northern suburbs, but we all turn hot and more humid today.
