Monday May 20 2019
The storms on Sunday tracked from Hagerstown to Southern PA. Today, a cold front will help to bring a round of thunderstorms to central Maryland mid afternoon. The best time wil be after 3 or 4 PM in metro areas. Then cross Delmarva and the beaches this evening. It will be warm and humid, but a cooler breeze will drop temps tomorrow. Then we shift out focus to late week storms and Memorial Weekend weather.

Outlook
Thursday still shows us right on the edge of the southern heat dome, which would put us in the storm track. This continues to fluctuate, which is why our temperature forecast shows a big adjustment.
If we end up on the northern edge of of the ridge, then we will be in the storm track, and could be there for a few days into the holiday weekend.
It won’t be full washouts, but could be repeating risk of strong to severe weather.
Temperature Outlook
We will be right on the edge of the heat for storms for a few days. So the temperature outlook may fluctuate between Thursday and Memorial Day depending on where this sets up.
