Just when you thought it was chilly here, snow is falling this morning in northern New York and New England. This is a bit extreme for them too! We are not completely done with the rain, but it is getting a little better. This morning starts with areas of fog, and we will have some breaks of sun when it lifts. But showers will develop mid day through the afternoon as we are still under the influence of a cool and unstable pattern.

We start in the 40s, but the 30s are as close as western Maryland. We expect to have some of that with patchy frost in the northern and western suburbs tomorrow morning.

We continue with a chance of showers just about each day this week. This includes Preakness Saturday, but a break on Sunday.

Temperature Outlook

This model is once again trying to bring in some warmer air this weekend. This will depend on cloud cover and how long we can hold off showers redeveloping Saturday. Next week looks more promising.
