Sunday April 21 2019

Could it be possible that we end up with better than expected weather for Easter Sunday? We are still under the influence of a broad pattern that is unstable. That will take our sunny morning and increase the clouds. But the threat of showers appears to hold off until later this afternoon and evening. So after a gorgeous Saturday, today may turn out pretty good as well.

Morning Satellite (3 Hour Loop)

The Upper Level Low shows the circulation to our west. The warm flow we had on Friday from the south is off of the coast. But the northern colder flow is wrapping around the Low Pressure in West Virginia and will shift our way later this afternoon and evening. This is what will help cloud cover to develop and eventual bring showers.

It appears the best chance for rain will be after 6 PM. A thin band of rain is expect to form just west of the Bay. This includes our most densely populated area, but it just one model suggestion. I would plan for the risk of rain this evening and tonight.

Rain Outlook This Week

After this evening’s showers, the next chance will be Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. It appears we may be in a trend that you may not like. Next Friday once again appears to bring in more rain and thunderstorms.
