Friday September 21 2018
Today is the last full day of summer and quite fitting we have a little rain. Autumn will officially begin on the equinox at 9:54 PM tomorrow September 22 2018. So technically, most of Saturday will still be in the season. How ever you want to see it, the outlook not only holds more rain, but also shows signs of much cooler weather with a few days in the 60s. One of those will be this weekend. If you are going to the Ravens game, plan for some light rain and a cool afternoon.

Morning Snapshot
The winds this morning are the main issue. A flow from the southeast to south across the lower portion of the Chesapeake Bay are sloshing high water along the western shore of the Bay. There was already flooding in Annapolis this morning and that will continue for prone areas.

Rain does not look too impressive, but that band in north central Virginia is what we will track below in parts of central Maryland during the morning

The rain on Sunday will be the start of what could be a wet week. It looks like we have a chance of rain every day until next Friday (Sep 28) Then the pattern will turn colder
Jet Stream Outlook
The coldest of the upper level patter will stay just to our north. We will get some chill, but not freezing for us. However, this could bring the first snow flakes to the Great Lakes.
