Friday May 18 2018
Let’s cut to the chase and just say it is going to rain again today. It already is and will be heavy in spots. If you live north of Baltimore there will be very little, but south there will be a lot. A Flood Advisory until 8:45 AM has been issued for Maryland in Talbot and Caroline Counties, and in Delaware for Sussex and Kent Counties. This is tracking very heavy rain that will total 2 to 4 inches today. One heavy surge this morning, then another round this evening. See the latest radar loop and simulation below.
If you are concerned about plans for Saturday, it looks like we will have more rain reaching back north of Baltimore into Pennsylvania. This includes some wet weather for Preakness, but for now it looks like to moderate.
