July 4

To say with will be hot with a chance of an afternoon thunderstorm on Independence Day is cliche, but so fitting. Yes, this year we have classic July weather as temps will climb into the lower 90s for many and thunderstorms will pop up mid afternoon through evening. The main question is whether it will interfere with your BBQ or fireworks.

In holiday mode now, there is not much more we can do besides plot the radar simulation and then track the radar. But I want to state that I do not believe the model will be a lock 100%. This did a good job with severe storms over the weekend, but the pop up variety is more like a suggestion. So please take this with a grain of salt.
