Monday June 5

There is a belief around our region that we rarely have spring, just jump right into summer. Well, I think we have had an extended spring this year, albeit cool and damp. While another round of that is expected this week, the pattern appears to jump next week with a string of temps in the 90s.  But not so fast…

An area of Low Pressure will be bringing rain our way today. Heavy, steady rain will reach Southern Maryland, while showers will be off/on for the rest of us. Plan for more rain south of the Bay Bridge. Around metro Baltimore a few hours with showers. There may be more showers into the afternoon near and north of the PA line. Behind this system will be a cool damp pattern for mid week. Here is the quick break-down.
