Monday April 17 – Say goodbye to the heat as a cold front will slowly move through today. Rain will be building during the morning and may get heavy before noon. Then ease off as the front moves south during the afternoon. The good news is that we still have some moderate drought conditions locally and it will take the pollen out of the air (briefly). Temps will be cooler this week, but still mild. We have a few more hits of rain this week, and next week the outlook actually looks cool than normal. We are due for that. Check it out:

Note: Temps remain in the mid 60s to near 70ºF today.

More Rain During The Week:

Thursday – Low Pressure to our north, putting our region in the warm sector with scattered strong T’Storms Thursday evening into Friday morning.

Sunday-Monday: The next Low Pressure should be farther south…bringing a steady rain our way. So next weekend might end wet.

Outlook:

Temperatures will be trending cool next week.

Get the award winning Kid Weather App I made with my oldest son and support our love for science, weather, and technology. Our 3 year anniversary of the release and our contribution to STEM education is this November. It has been downloaded in 60 countries, and works in both temperature scales. With your support we can expand on the fun introduction to science and real weather.
