Saturday January 21 – This weekend edition starts with the remainder of the Dense Fog Advisory for northern Maryland and southern PA, which has been extended until 1 PM. Today will be choice day of the weekend as mild temperatures continue. But we are in a very active pattern. Severe storms that have produced deadly tornadoes in the Gulf Coast area will held lead to a Nor’Easter type system. There is a limited supply of cold air for now, so all we get is heavy rain and strong winds… Monday will be the most stormy for us. But the cold air will return. With rain developing Sunday into Tuesday, then the pattern will flip back and cold air will take hold again by the end of next week. Snow? Yes, that will make an appearance as well. February will help us make up for lost time.

Filling Up Our Water Supply
First Sign Of Cold Air
Given the model error with systems verifying farther north… I would watch the front on Thursday to our south… If it hangs closer, we could have some development as the cold air catches up…. Nothing seen by the models for now…
