Freezing Rain Advisory Monday Morning

Sunday December 25 – There is a Freezing Rain Advisory for southern and central Pennsylvania Monday from 4 AM to 1 PM. The main storm track remains to our west, however a disturbance ahead of it will be passing through with light precipitation. The advisory posted by the National Weather Service accounts for a glaze of icing, but not much accumulation. This is a case when less is more. The simulated radar below shows the light rain with temperatures just below freezing. This may include parts of northern Maryland in northern Carroll, Baltimore, and Harford counties at daybreak. Just enough to make some spots slick, but no Maryland counties are in the advisory as of post time. There are some people who have a regular work schedule, plus the holiday gift return traffic that may want to consider this.

Faith in the Flakes: We will have some snow showers at the end of the week and on the front end of the storm arriving New Year’s Day. See more below.
