Tuesday November 8 – Today is the big Election Day and weather will not be a factor in the Mid Atlantic. In fact, this will be the nicest day of the week (after a frosty start) with the warmest temperatures and light wind. Sunshine should dominate, but high clouds will take over the sky ahead of the next system, making for a pretty sunset at (ahem) 4: 58 PM. We will aim for the upper 60s, and enjoy it. Showers tomorrow mark the first of two cool downs on the way.
Rain Wednesday –> sliders:
The hourly breakdown shows rain arriving in the morning, and showers will linger through the afternoon.
The wider view shows the push of colder air behind the front… especially as a storm flares up along the coast to increase the cold winds behind it for us.

Weekend Changes
A second cold front on Friday will not have much moisture with it, but will adjust the jet stream for our first real taste of colder air. There is a chance this will produce snow showers and flurries off of Lake Erie to carry into Pennsylvania and western Maryland. High Temps may stay in the 40s for metro Baltimore.
