Friday October 21 – It is warmer this morning than it will be all weekend. The center of Low Pressure will pass overhead, and it may seem contradictory, but the rain will linger behind it for us. This line could have a brief, intense downpour along with winds gusting over 40 mph. This will arrive just in time for the kids to come home from school and rush hour, but break up during the evening. So this is our last mild day, then the cold front will bring in afternoon rain and colder winds. This weekend will be a sharp contrast with highs in the upper 50s for most Saturday and strong gusty winds still pushing that 40 mph threshold. Leaves will be flying and you might be quite chilly at outdoor festivals.. Next week we should be staying in the 50s and 60s during the afternoons.
