Watch the rocket launch Live here tonight: October 17

rocketlaunchoct17October 17th- After a one day postponement due to a glitch in a ground support cable, the Orbital ATK will launch from Wallops Island, VA. This will be nearly 2 years after the explosion of another International Space Station supply mission. Tonight at 7:40 PM The Antares rocket will launch Orbital ATK’s Cygnus spacecraft on a NASA cargo delivery mission.

The viewing area includes millions from New Hampshire to South Carolina. Our local area is in a good spot to see this in the southeast sky. The sky is clear and we should see the streak of light as the rocket lifts away over the ocean and into orbit.
