Severe Thunderstorm Watches And Warnings

radarSunJune53:25 PM Sunday June 5 – The line of severe storms has gotten active and may be a little faster than the earlier schedule by 15 to 30 minutes. The storms are moving to the east with a forward speed of 35 mph.  Severe storms have the potential to bring wind speeds of 60 mph or higher, large hail over 1 inch in diameter, frequent lighting, and local flooding.  The latest Warning has been issued for central Maryland until 4:15 PM. This includes Frederick, Carroll, Baltimore Counties. At this point it looks like Baltimore within the Beltway should see the storm between 4:30 and 5:30 PM.Expect more warnings as this line moves to the east and expands south where more heat and energy are waiting between Annapolis and Maryland’s Lower Eastern Shore.
