Sunday April 3- The storm that arrives with the arctic front Saturday night came with winds over 50 mph, tree damage and some hail. That was at night. The winds left behind forced a delay to the start of the Cherry Blossom 10 Mile race in Washington and likely other events. Monday is Orioles opening day and yet another clipper will push in a line of rain with some thunderstorms possible. The timing of this should arrive during the afternoon in Baltimore, so the festivities and game could be impacted. Beyond that another series of systems will continue in a volatile pattern through the middle of the month. The risk for freezing temperature impacting farmers stays with us as well. Here are quick snapshots. Please check back this evening as I have a prediction for the Orioles success this season based on weather history.
