Saturday April 2 – Extreme weather is dominating the country. At lest 15 tornadoes cross the US on Friday while a band of snow is crossing the Great Lakes. We are caught in the crosshairs with a series of systems that will pass through this weekend and next week. Today it will be rain. The timeline below shows it lingering most of the day in parts of Maryland, then a strong cold front approaches this evening with snow showing up in the mountains. We could get flurries into central Maryland as strong winds will gut over 50 mph in spots. Then just colder with wind chills dropping. We have a Freeze Warning, but some of southern Maryland will escape the first round. However there will be more as another round of rain (and snow) moves in on Orioles Opening Day.
