Sunday Rain: Radar Simulation

Sunday Rain: Radar Simulation

SundayMapSunday March 13- A front is draped just south Maryland and a wave of Low Pressure to the west will help to bring it in. The east wind is cool, had built up the clouds, and added to the developing rain. But the system adding the energy is coming from the southwest. This combination makes for a cool and damp day and rain is inevitable. Sadly, this is the most pessimistic outcome for today and might thin the crowd for the St. Patrick’s festivities in Baltimore.

As opposed to ‘showers’ that come and go, this looks like much of the afternoon will be wet as the rain band expands and slides east northeast. The high temperatures show our region socked in with the chilly 50s and surrounded by warmer weather on all sides. That warm up will arrive during the week. Here is a quick look at just today’s weather.

Now that we are in Daylight Saving Time, sunset will be at 7:12 PM. I will have an outlook for this upcoming week later today.
