The 70s Arrive Today And Stay A Few Days

Screen Shot2016-03-08 06_01_44Tuesday March 8- The warm air mass is moving in this morning, and as I have suggested it will end up warmer and stay longer than first suggested. The pattern will be locked for the rest of the week with warm winds and dry weather for the eastern US as severe storms and flooding pound east Texas and the Mississippi River Valley. El Nino will get the blame for this. Notice the red shading with 5 inches or above rainfall this week. AS much as 10 inches or more in east Texas and western Louisiana. But not a drop for our region, through Saturday.

While I still believe that pattern may repeat last May, with the shift to our region a month later… the just focus for us is on the warm weather for now.
