Snowline Bling Video: Ast Principal Channels Drake For School Closings

January 28 2016 – The Blizzard 2016 is the gift that keeps on giving. Kind of like that Drake song Hotline Bling. You cringe at the dancing in his video, but can’t get that tune out of your head. For many the snow dig is lingering longer than expected. A lot of Maryland School Systems have been closed all week. While some announcements are day to day, other counties just realized mid week it was a lost cause and called out the rest of the week. My parents taught me the philosophy that you need to deal with any crisis with some element of humor. We had a blizzard and we have a crisis. I love seeing a growing trend of educators showing off their sense of humor.

I have already been to over 20 area schools delivering Faith in the Flakes shirts to faculty and have seen it first hand. Perhaps the shirts worked a little too well. But we also saw 3rd grade teacher Mary Morris record an awesome rendition of Snow to Adele’s Hello (I posted her new video below, where she briefly wore her FITF shirt). We also just had Anne Arundel County’s robo-call with their Adele parody. Now check this out…

This video from Harford County. It is Havre de Grace High School Assistant Principal Brad Spence showing off his inner Drake with a fitting parody called Snowline Bling. Harford County has been out of school all week. Two and a half feet of snow will do that to you. It might be a little better than the Donald Trump cameo on SNL in the Fall. If and when they ever get back to school, he might have earned some more street cred.

Do you remember the Teacher Anthem Snow Adele parody? That was from Mary Morris. She came out with a new video and if you look closely she is wearing her Faith in the Flakes shirt when at her bathroom mirror 🙂
