We are about to get a reality check, but not today. Temperatures will remain above average until the next storm arrives, which will then usher in colder than average air for the weekend. We can’t time it out for local snow lovers, but it will feel like winter for a few days and snow showers will fall over the mountains to our west. Today however, we may have reached our high temperature of 67°F, but we should get back close to 60°F. The winds will be stronger this morning, then ease as the latest storm moves away this afternoon. Then we slowly chip away as this pattern, with the main event on Thursday as the next storm passed directly over Maryland. But after our cold weekend, we get right back to the warm stuff Christmas week.

Weekend Will Be Cold
Temperatures Trending Even Colder
Highs On Saturday might stay in the 30s for parts of metro Baltimore, and definitely west/north. This will be a day we can factor in the wind chill as well. But by next week and Christmas, we will be back to yet another warming trend.
