Nov10WxMapIt is wet this morning. That may be stating the obvious, but we had moderate rain overnight and you could leave the house during a break this morning. But traffic will be slow as a result and there is more rain on the way. There has been a little traffic jam in the Atlantic thanks to the formation of Tropical Storm Kate which has blocked the coastal storm from pushing farther east. The cluster is also helping to funnel more moisture inland and an upper level system will swing through with more rain today.

Here is a look at the split in two main bands of moisture that we expected with this complex storm. The lull in between should fill in with more rain during the day.

The upper level winds this morning show the pump of moisture from the Atlantic in towards the inland part of the storm cluster.

Temperature Outlook:

A few more mild days, but a big change this weekend. A strong push of colder air will arrive, changing our pattern to below normal temperatures into next week.
