Shelfie_OCMD_KathyEvans‎The transition from record heat on Friday to normal November chill was marked by a band of rain today. This cold front is a classic example of ‘bark worse than its bite”. A large shelf cloud rolled in over Ocean City, Maryland and caught everyones attention, but the weather was not severe. OCMD has given quite a few impressive weather shows this summer, and has not let up this autumn.

When the rain moved in, it wasn’t particularly heavy. In fact the temperature dropped from 68F to 56F, only 12 degrees. But a few photos of the event lead to ‘shelfies’. Here are the others. Thanks to all that sent them in. Also see the other extreme weather events we’ve seen this year at the beaches.
