A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for eastern Carroll and Northern Baltimore Counties in Maryland until 9:30 PM. A second Warning until 10:15 PM for parts of York County, PA. This is the cell I tracked earlier this afternoon, just a little farther west than the simulation shown here. Storms have already produced close to 2 inches of rain with lighting. This particular cell may produce winds to 60 mph. The actual cell is moving with a forward speed of 55 mph, which itself can increase the winds at the surface.
