The maps looks like winter. Well, sort of. Temperatures this morning have dropped into the 30s, but the clearing last night was delayed, so it could have been colder. There is plenty of frost to be seen on the lawns, and snow on the radar.  This Lake Effect Snow image matched up pretty well with what we discussed a few days ago. Looks like the fun is split to the north and south of Buffalo, with a few other plums off Lake Ontario surrounding Rochester and Syracuse. Lucky them, right? There has been some accumulation and I am waiting to find some pics to share. #FITF

The disturbance assisting with the bands of snow and rain will get a little boost during the day. So much like Saturday that started out clear, it will turn cloudy, windy, and some of those showers could each the northern part of Baltimore.

A closer look shows the snow reached the typical ridge and stopping near Somerset, PA around 7 Springs.  The temperatures will warm up into the upper 40s and lower 50s, so as you check out the radar simulation below, the showers that do arrive mid afternoon will be in the form of rain locally.  Also note, it will clear again tonight and we are under a Freeze Watch, that will translate to another Freeze Warning and Frost Advisory for Monday morning when The National Weather Service issues them later today.
