A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued until 6:15 PM for central Maryland. This includes Carroll, Howard, and Baltimore Counties, and Baltimore City. This is the latest in a series of warnings with this cold front that has shown weak rotation and signs of hail embedded within some cells near Mt. Airy. these had shown up early near Westminster and Hampstead in northern Carroll Co. Winds could gust to 60 mph as the front passes. The storms have been holding together as the approach the Bay. We need a southeast wind usually to enhance the storms east of the mountains.  But that is currently it is southwest. We will watch that for any change to feed the line in the next two hours.
