It seems like most of Maryland beings school today, but not all counties. Needless to say, teachers are still reporting in Carroll County and traffic has increased on the roads. So on this Monday with a forecast of temperatures approaching 90F, this hint of summer hanging on will only last a day, then the rest of this week will be sweet. So classrooms without air conditioning will get a much needed break tomorrow after this cold front passes by.
Most of today will be dry. The simulated radar still shows the developing of this line of showers around 4 PM near Hagerstown. It will take three to four hours for it to reach Baltimore, but might slow down south and east of Washington DC. Then it will be more of an evening or night issue around the Chesapeake Bay.
