By this point I hope the notion of our Blue Moon changing colors has been cleared up. Or has it.  We had a few classic summer moonrises and setting scenes with orange and yellow glows. The ‘blue moon’ was just a second full moon in the same month.  I elaborated a little more on this last week, but the buzz was viral. So were the photos. The clouds parted just in time to capture great views Thursday night, Friday morning, and Friday evening. I put the call out for photos along with a few tips from photographers on how to capture the light just right.  Below are a dozen pics that grabbed my attention from the mountains of Gettysburg to the beach and by the Chesapeake Bay. There were so many great close ups capturing the craters very well. But the colors and framing stood out in a way that I wanted to share. Scroll through these and you will understand why.  Thanks to all that shared. Check back for more of the other light show some had in the sky on Saturday. Read more about the blue moon in the link below the photos.
