Screen Shot2015-07-30 10_35_25Confession: If you saw the forecast and radar simulation this morning, that was generated last night. Since then, the cold front  associated line of showers has moved a bit faster. As a result, it is already showing up on local radar and should arrive sooner. That means earlier relief from the heat, but the front timing is still slated for this evening. So there may be two rounds of rain, and the ending in Baltimore will be around the start of the Orioles game. A delay is possible, but the game will play. There is also a marginal risk for any storm to turn severe.  That means most will not, but one or two cells could have wind gusts pushing over 60 mph.

Some areas, especially west will clear out in time to watch the almost full, almost blue moon rise. Although clouds and showers will linger longer on the Eastern Shore and the beaches. So Ocean City and Delaware might miss on the rise over the ocean, but it will get better tonight and tomorrow. At least a little. The heat stays near 90F or higher, but it will feel more tolerable.
